Hosting in Switzerland or on your premises
One machine per organisation, on your premises or in Switzerland.
What is sovereign AI, in Switzerland?
AI that an organisation keeps under its own control: its data, its assistants and its memory live on its own machine, on its premises or hosted in a data centre in Switzerland. AI models hosted online only receive what it chooses to send them, with its agreement; models that run on its own machine can work without sending anything. That is the choice Meotis, in Neuchâtel, made for Comoto Enterprise OS.
Trust and security, in detailWhich machine does Comoto Enterprise OS run on?
On a Mac mini or a Mac Studio on your premises; on an NVIDIA server for the largest AI models, for projects that need it; or in a Swiss data centre. It depends on the project.
Do we have to install a server on our premises?
No, not necessarily. If you would rather install nothing, the same machine is hosted for you in a data centre in Switzerland. On your premises or hosted, it is one machine per organisation, running the same software, Comoto Enterprise OS. We make the choice with you, based on your project. And you do not have to do it all alone: Meotis works with you from the first meeting to installation (your machine, your tools connected, your assistants set up) and trains your teams with Meotis Academy.
Discover Comoto Enterprise OSWhat happens if I change my mind?
You can switch. On your premises or hosted in Switzerland, it is the same machine and the same software: we make the choice with you, based on your project, and it is not set in stone. To see clearly before choosing, the AI Review commits you to nothing: its plan holds with or without Meotis.
Discover the AI ReviewIs AI hosted in Switzerland compliant with the FADP?
Meotis claims no compliance and no certification: the page “AI and the law in Switzerland” explains, it certifies nothing. The FADP applies in every case, and hosting is only one element of it. You also need to check the contract with the provider, the retention period and training on your data, and update your privacy notice. For a specific legal question, consult your lawyer or your compliance officer.
