The own portfolio
Listed positions and private equity investments, with the documents needed to follow them.
A small, fast-growing investment company is rolling out Comoto Enterprise OS to bring its knowledge together, structure the monitoring of its listed positions and private equity, and connect its teams with its providers.
Under contract · Roll-out under way, full roll-out planned for December 2026. First qualitative findings reported by Meotis; financial gains are still to be measured.
Monitoring listed positions, private equity, strategies, subsidiaries and holdings needed clearer processes. Documents were spread across several employees, each working on their own computer. This made handover harder when someone left.
The task given to Meotis: bring the information and processes together, identify with the team the tasks to make more efficient, and set up secure access for external providers. The accounting firm had to be able to see what it needed for its work, then the auditor at a later stage.
The goal was to absorb the growth with more efficiency and economies of scale, in service of the return on invested capital and of the shareholders. Better communication with shareholders was also expected.
Listed positions and private equity investments, with the documents needed to follow them.
The goals, assumptions and rules that give allocations their meaning.
The context of the companies held, how they are followed and the decisions that concern them.
Investments in third-party companies, their files and their deadlines.
Gather the documents and their context in the cognitive core, to make sharing and handover easier beyond individual computers.
Map together the steps of investment monitoring and accounting work, then the tasks to make more efficient.
Set up secure connections for the accounting firm and the auditor. This access is put in place with the team.
Move useful information between departments and with the holdings in private companies. This context also feeds the AI’s answers.
The goal is to test eligible opportunities against the economic situation, the research available and the rules of each strategy. The selection can stay empty: it should help judgement, without creating an obligation to invest.
Concentration and selection limits frame the proposals. Portfolio needs give the context; the person in charge reviews the arguments, the reservations and the decision to take.
An operating principle still to be documented in this case. The parameters and controls actually used remain to be confirmed with the team.
Comoto Enterprise OS is the shared memory of the project. Noésis and Atlas serve complementary financial uses; their scope in this case is still to be defined.
The memory of documents, exchanges and decisions, to find the context that matters.
Explore the memory of a decisionThe investment lab where the house view is built: the sources, signals and scenarios that feed the research work and make the reasoning open to review.
Discover NoésisThe Noésis view, applied to each client’s portfolio, with the manager’s approval. Monitoring the company’s own investments is a separate scope here, still to be defined.
Discover AtlasComoto Enterprise OS is built to evolve: it improves with the company through use and, after the team’s approval, adds the new capabilities that reach the market.
Each approval and each correction by the team becomes an example. The company’s context grows richer and answers rest on what has been kept.
New capabilities reaching the market, such as voice, vision or more advanced reasoning, are reviewed, then added after approval.
Each change is shown to the team before it goes live. The access rights and processes defined together remain the starting point.
The roll-out is under way. Meotis already reports qualitative improvements:
The cognitive core brings a shared memory that answers the scattering of documents and makes it easier to pass knowledge on.
These findings are not a performance measure. Economies of scale, return on invested capital and shareholder communication remain goals to be assessed over time. No figures on gains and no client testimonial are presented.
The first scoping session identifies the process, the sources needed, the person in charge and the success criteria.
The Comoto walkthrough uses a fictional team review, separate from this client case.
