What we collect

Only what you choose to send us:

• Booking a call · name, email, chosen slot · to organise the call and send you the kMeet video link (Infomaniak, Switzerland).
• Newsletter and access to publications · your email · to send you our articles and announcements.
• Contact and application forms · the information you enter · to reply to you.

This site uses no advertising tracking cookies and no profiling.

Where your data goes

The live site is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak (Geneva), like the Meotis infrastructure. Forms are processed directly on this Swiss infrastructure: the data you choose to enter (name, email, message, slot) is sent to hello@meotis.ch without going through a third-party provider or leaving Switzerland. The site uses no advertising tracker and no external fonts. Audience measurement, described below, runs without cookies on a Matomo instance we host ourselves. Your data is only used to answer your request, and is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.

Audience measurement

We use Matomo, self-hosted on our servers in Switzerland (stats.meotis.ch), set up without cookies and with IP addresses anonymised. No browsing data is passed to third parties. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal is respected. When you submit a form, the source of your visit (campaign, referring page) and a technical Matomo visit ID are attached to your request: they let our team see the browsing path linked to your visit, only to prepare the best reply.

Opt out of audience measurement

You can opt out of audience measurement at any time, in one click, below. You can also turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser, which we respect automatically.

Local storage in your browser

The site sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage), which stays on your device and is never sent to a third party, for:

• meo_src · the source of your first visit (campaign, referring site, landing page) · kept 30 days, attached to your requests to answer them better.
• meotis-lang-choice, meotis-theme, meotis-nview · your display preferences (language, light/dark theme, newsroom view) · kept until you clear them.
• meotis-graph-access, meotis:art:*, meotis:toast:* · your access and interactions on this site (graph demo, marked articles) · same.

You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings (“Clear site data”).

Retention

Your data is kept for the length of the relationship (newsletter subscription, ongoing exchange) and then deleted. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in every email. Raw audience logs are kept for 25 months at most, after which only aggregated, anonymous statistics are kept.

Your rights

Under the FADP, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time: hello@meotis.ch. We reply within 30 days.
