Your data, handled like our own: with restraint.

What we collect

Only what you voluntarily provide to us:

• Booking a call · name, email, chosen time slot · to organize the call and send you the kMeet videoconference link (Infomaniak, Switzerland).
• Newsletter and access to publications · your email · to send you our articles and announcements.
• Contact / application forms · the information you enter · to respond to you.

This site uses no advertising tracking cookies and no profiling.

Where your data goes

The production site is hosted in Switzerland, with Infomaniak (Geneva), like the Meotis production infrastructure. Forms are processed directly on this Swiss infrastructure: the data you voluntarily enter (name, email, message, time slot) is sent to hello@meotis.ch without passing through any third-party provider or leaving Switzerland. The site uses no advertising tracker and no external web font; audience measurement, detailed below, is handled without cookies by a Matomo instance we host ourselves. Your data is used only to respond to your request, and is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.

Audience measurement

We use Matomo, self-hosted on our servers in Switzerland (stats.meotis.ch), configured without cookies and with IP address anonymization. No browsing data is transmitted to third parties. Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is respected. When you submit a form, the source of your visit (campaign, originating page) and a technical Matomo visit identifier are attached to your request: they allow our team to review the browsing journey associated with your visit, solely to better prepare our reply.

Opting out of audience measurement

You can opt out of audience measurement at any time, in one click, below — or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser, which we honor automatically.

Local storage in your browser

The site sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage (localStorage), which stays on your device and is never transmitted to any third party, for:

• meo_src · the source of your first visit (campaign, referring site, landing page) · kept 30 days, attached to your requests to answer them better.
• meotis-lang-choice, meotis-theme, meotis-nview · your display preferences (language, day/night theme, newsroom view) · kept until you clear them.
• meotis-graph-access, meotis:art:*, meotis:toast:* · your accesses and interactions on this site (graph demo, saved articles) · same.

You can erase this data at any time in your browser settings ("Clear site data").

Retention period

Your data is kept for the duration of the relationship (newsletter subscription, ongoing exchange) and then deleted. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link included in each email. Raw audience-measurement logs are kept for a maximum of 25 months, after which only aggregated, anonymous statistics remain.

Your rights

In accordance with the nFADP, you may request access to, rectification of, or deletion of your data at any time: hello@meotis.ch. We respond within 30 days.
