Product Release · Meotis FinanceAtlas: the software that steers your clients' portfolios. AI prepares, you approve
Meotis Finance introduces Atlas, the Swiss platform that puts a team of AI analysts at the service of independent wealth managers, and keeps every decision in human hands. A guided tour, in plain English.

An independent wealth manager is a craftsman: one or two dozen families entrusting them with their savings, portfolios to monitor every day, and a mountain of regulatory obligations to document. Atlas, the platform developed by Meotis Finance, gives them what only large banks could afford until now: an entire floor of analysts working around the clock. With one fundamental difference: at Atlas, artificial intelligence is not allowed to decide.
What is a “PMS”?
PMS stands for Portfolio Management System: the wealth manager’s cockpit. In practice, it is the screen they open in the morning to answer three simple questions: how are my clients’ portfolios doing, what deserves my attention today, and what must I be able to prove to the regulator?
Until now, answering those three questions meant juggling a spreadsheet, the e-banking of several custodian banks, a binder of documents, and a lot of memory. Atlas brings everything together in one place: portfolios, alerts, compliance tasks, client documents, and even prospecting.
A governed research committee
The heart of Atlas is its “desk”: 30 artificial analysts, each with a precise role. Fifteen build the case for an investment idea, fifteen build the case against it, paid (in electrons) to tear it down. Two control functions, risk and compliance, are the only ones holding a veto right. The seats are organised by asset class and by sector: equities, bonds, real estate, commodities, healthcare, technology, energy, and more. And the bench is not fixed: additional agents can be created for specific tasks, as the house requires.
When the manager studies an idea, or when a portfolio drifts off course, Atlas summons the right specialists and organizes a real three-round debate: each states their position, responds to the others’ arguments, then an impartial chair delivers a synthesis. Always with the same requirement: presenting the best argument against the idea, not just the reasons to believe in it.
And the cost of this little parliament? It may be the most telling number: a full debate costs between 5 and 20 centimes. Having an investment idea examined by seven opposing viewpoints costs less than a coffee, a level of analysis that used to be reserved for the clients of large institutions.
The golden rule: AI proposes, humans decide
This is Atlas’s founding promise, and it is engraved in the very architecture of the software, not in a statement of intent. Every proposal, wherever it comes from, lands in an approval queue: the manager reads it, modifies it, accepts it, or rejects it. Nothing, not a letter, not a recommendation, not a single order, goes out to a client without that human gesture.
An AI that executes orders in your name is a risk. An AI that prepares the work and leaves you the decision is a lever.
Four commitments structure the system:
| What Atlas does | What Atlas will never do |
|---|---|
| Analyzes portfolios continuously and raises its hand when something drifts | Place a stock-market order, however small |
| Prepares argued, quantified, adversarial proposals | Touch bank accounts: access is read-only |
| Prepares letters and reports, ready for review | Send anything to a client without human validation |
| Keeps the regulatory file up to date, automatically | Mix two clients’ data: every file is partitioned |
Every client, on one page
For every relationship, Atlas keeps a complete dashboard: portfolio value and how it has evolved, allocation across equities, bonds, and cash, performance, fees, documents, regulatory checks. And above all, the permanent comparison against the plan agreed with the client: if the portfolio drifts from its strategy, too many equities after a market rally, for example, Atlas flags it and prepares a rebalancing proposal. Which the manager remains free to follow, amend, or ignore.
The same file serves conversations about the future. Rather than promising a return, Atlas simulates thousands of possible trajectories for a client’s wealth over ten or twenty years and shows the full range, from the cautious scenario to the favorable one, with the probability of reaching a goal. Honest numbers, with their uncertainties on display.
And your data?
Atlas is built to the standards Meotis applies to all its products. Data remains within the installation, encrypted, partitioned by management company and by client. Cloud connectors and external AI are disabled by default. And every action, whether a proposal generated, a decision made, or a document sent, is recorded in a timestamped, verifiable logbook: each page is sealed with the cryptographic fingerprint of the previous one, so any retroactive modification is detected immediately. For the end client, it is a simple guarantee: the history of the relationship cannot be rewritten. For the manager, it is the regulatory file writing itself, in the course of daily work.
The screens shown in this article come from a demonstration environment: all names, amounts, and portfolios are fictitious.
Informational and educational content only: it does not constitute personalized investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation. Atlas is a tool for managers and qualified investors within the meaning of FinSA; the investment decision remains human.
